Assignment Export lets you export assignments from Brainville to your own system.

It is designed to be simple to implement, while still supporting more advanced integration patterns.

Assignment Export is intended for internal use within the company (legal entity) using the service only. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of Brainville data with any third party is not permitted.

Plan your integration

Before you get started, decide how you want assignments to be delivered to your system.

Assignment Export supports three approaches:

  • Manual export – trigger exports per assignment
  • Push – receive assignments automatically based on your search profile
  • Pull – retrieve assignments on demand

You can use one of these, or combine them depending on your workflow.

Setup

To use Manual export or Push, you need to:

  • Configure a receiving endpoint
  • Define a search profile to control which assignments are relevant

How it works

Manual export

  • Each assignment in Brainville includes an Export button
  • When triggered, assignment data is sent to your endpoint
  • Exports are explicit and handled per assignment

Push (automatic delivery)

  • Assignments matching your search profile are sent to your endpoint
  • Delivery happens in close connection to when assignments are published
  • No manual interaction required

Pull (on demand)

  • Retrieve assignments when it fits your workflow
  • Use your search profile to control what is returned
  • Suitable for scheduled jobs or internal pipelines

Data usage & licensing

Assignment data provided via Assignment Export is subject to your Brainville license and applicable agreements.

  • Access is limited to assignments your company is allowed to receive
  • Export volume is controlled by your license (per 30 days)
  • Data is intended for use within your own systems and workflows
  • Not intended for redistribution or exposure to any third party
  • You are responsible for handling and storing data in accordance with applicable regulations and agreements

Assignment Export requires Premium Sales.

Premium Sales includes up to 25 exported assignments per 30 days. For higher volumes, a separate license for Assignment Export is required.
